Real Madrid have secret agreement to seal transfer to infuriate rivals Barcelona

Could Real Madrid really pull this off?

Real Madrid reportedly have a deal in place in the future to seal the controversial transfer of Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar in a move that could infuriate their old rivals Barcelona.

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is said to have exchanged WhatsApp messages with the Brazilian forward’s father in a bid to bring him to the Bernabeu in the future, according to Diario Gol.

The report claims that Madrid are still reeling from being beaten to Neymar’s signature by Barcelona earlier in his career, when he was poached from Brazilian side Santos.

PSG only signed Neymar from Barca this summer, but Diario Gol’s report claims they are under some obligation to accept a reasonable offer from Real in the future.

With Barcelona powerless to prevent Neymar leaving for Paris once the Ligue 1 giants triggered his £200million release clause, as reported at the time by BBC Sport, it would really rub salt into the wound if he were to later end up playing for their most fierce La Liga rivals.

Neymar – the next Luis Figo?

Not many players go on to play for both Real and Barca, but Neymar could certainly find himself as hated a figure as Luis Figo back in the day, who moved directly from the Nou Camp to the Bernabeu in 2000.

The Portuguese winger always received a frosty reception on his return to Barcelona’s stadium, and Neymar has arguably already sufficiently angered his old fan-base with the nature of his departure this season.
