Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is reportedly set to receive good news on the injury front as Alvaro Morata participated in full training on Tuesday.

The Spaniard sustained a hamstring injury prior to the international break in the loss against Manchester City, as he pulled up and had to be replaced in the first-half of the 1-0 defeat.

In turn, he has since been recovering and going through rehabilitation, and based on the images below, it looks as though he could be in contention against Roma at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

It remains to be seen whether or not Conte starts him though, as the last thing the Italian tactician will want is to risk Morata suffering a setback after pushing too hard to come back.

However, he’ll undoubtedly go through all the fitness tests to determine whether or not he can feature, and his potential return will be a huge boost after the defeat to Crystal Palace as Chelsea certainly missed their summer signing who has scored seven goals in nine games so far this season.

Meanwhile, as reported by The Mirror, Conte included four Chelsea starlets in first-team training on Tuesday, with Ethan Ampadu, Dujon Sterling, Jake Clarke-Salter and Kyle Scott all said to have been involved with the senior players.

All four are highly-rated and have made a positive impact at youth level, and through a combination of injuries and a lack of depth in this current Chelsea squad, they’ll be itching for an opportunity to impress.

Conte hasn’t always shown a great deal of faith in young players during his managerial career, often going for experience and the tried and tested with Juventus, Italy and Chelsea, but he could be forced to look to them to plug gaps in the coming weeks as he’ll have to rotate with the fixtures coming thick and fast in all competitions.
