Tottenham place valuation on Harry Kane, Euro giants plot sensational £150m offer but will be way short

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has established himself as one of the most clinical finishers in Europe, and in turn he’s attracted some interest.

The 24-year-old has destroyed any notion or fear of being a ‘one season wonder’, scoring 94 goals in 137 games in all competitions over the last three years.

Further, he’s already got 11 goals in 10 outings so far this season as he continues to fire Tottenham towards their objectives.

However, his situation could be about to get complicated, as it’s claimed by The Mirror that Real Madrid have set their sights on him and are willing to offer £150m to acquire his services.

The reigning Spanish and European champions will get a closer look at the England international as they take on Tottenham in the Champions League on Tuesday night, but this report suggests that they’re already convinced and are ready to launch a transfer assault.

However, that bid might not be anywhere near enough, as The Times claim that Spurs have placed a price-tag of over £200m on their talismanic striker in order to fend off interest from the likes of Los Blancos.

Tottenham will undoubtedly be desperate to keep hold of Kane, as although that’s a lot of money and they could reinvest wisely in the squad, they’ve been here before and have to learn their lesson.

Kane is arguably irreplaceable, and ultimately he’s far from done with Tottenham as he’ll want to deliver trophies to the supporters while also wanting to play in the new stadium next season.

Having been forced to take their time in rebuilding and getting results after Gareth Bale’s exit, Mauricio Pochettino will surely be desperate to see Real Madrid’s interest rebuffed by the club, with Kane having a major role to play for him moving forward.
