The latest edition of Football Manager is set to hit the shelves, with the beta version of the 2018 game going live on Thursday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo may well have won the Best player award at the FIFA awards earlier this week, but according to FM18, he isn’t even valued in the top 25 players in terms of their in-game price-tags.

The list is dominated by Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich players, while the Premier League contingent is strong too, but with a valuation of €55m, Ronaldo doesn’t get the nod as clearly at 32, the FM makers don’t believe he still holds the same financial clout as he once did.
Admittedly this is just the virtual world so make of it what you will, but he surely won’t be overly impressed with how things are looking on the game with Adam Lallana (€56m) even valued higher than him.
Other notable absentees from the top of the rankings include Kylian Mbappe at €58m and Barcelona summer signing Ousmane Dembele who comes in at €56m.
Here’s the top-10 list:
Neymar – €95m
Messi – €95m
De Bruyne – €87m
Bale – €84m
Aguero – €84m
Suarez – €82m
Lewandowski – €82m
Griezmann – €81m
Isco – €78m
Hazard – €78m
