Good news for Chelsea as influential Blues ace returns to first team training

Chelsea have received a big boost after Brazilian international David Luiz returned to Blues training.

This has come after a feud with boss Conte saw the player left out of Chelsea’s squad for their clash against Man United.

This was reported by the Sun, who say that Luiz and Conte have now put their differences aside after meeting earlier this week.

The Blues defender has returned to training with the west London side

Since his arrival from PSG in the summer of 2016, Luiz has been nothing short of exceptional.

The former Benfica man was instrumental in his side’s Premier League winning season last year, as the player only missed five games as the Blues went on to win their fifth league title.

The player’s impressive passing range and ability on the ball saw him become one of the first names on the team sheet at Stamford Bridge.

Conte’s decision to deploy him in the centre of a back three was one of the main reasons why his side performed as well as they did, as the Italian’s choice of formation allowed the Brazilian to get forward at will, which in turn caused havoc for opposition defenders.

Should Luiz and Conte be back to normal now, it’ll come a huge boost for the Blues, who would’ve dearly missed the player’s ability and leadership at the back.
