Arsenal may have been handed a significant boost to their hopes of sealing the transfer of Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa as he is seemingly having doubts over joining Real Madrid.
According to Don Balon, Los Blancos are making him one of their top targets as president Florentino Perez seeks to replace Keylor Navas, though the Costa Rican remains a popular figure at the club.
This has apparently led to Kepa being unsure over the move, and Marca recently listed Arsenal as also being among his admirers.
The Gunners certainly look like they could do with signing an upgrade on Petr Cech, who has not looked at his best for some time now and who will turn 36 later this season.

Kepa looks a huge prospect after impressing in La Liga, and at 23 has the perfect blend of youth and experience to carry him through if he does make the move to a bigger club.
As he seems reluctant to go and potentially sit on the bench at the Bernabeu, this could be a great chance for Arsenal to offer him the number one spot he craves in north London.
With Arsenal leaking goals at the back this season, their fans would dearly love to see Arsene Wenger address that with a move for a player of Kepa’s quality.
