Real Madrid signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea could end up being a huge boost to Manchester United in the transfer market, as well as on the pitch.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho would surely love to see the Blues lose one of their most important players, with Hazard playing a major role in the club’s recent Premier League success.

And according to Diario Gol, this transfer would likely force Marco Asensio to look for a move away, which he has apparently made clear to president Florentino Perez.

Diario Gol also recently claimed Mourinho was a big fan of the young Spaniard, so much so that he could even offer Marcus Rashford to Los Blancos as part of any potential deal.

Asensio has already struggled to gain regular playing time at Real, and the arrival of a top attacker like Hazard would clearly make that task even harder.

Should Chelsea be worried by potential Eden Hazard transfer?

Hazard has dropped one or two worrying hints that all is not well at Chelsea lately, most notably when he expressed his admiration for Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.

‘Zidane would be a dream to have as a coach, he was my idol when I was little. I have a lot of respect for him,’ he told La Derniere Heure.

The 26-year-old also didn’t sound best pleased with Conte when he was subbed off in the recent game against Roma, with the Metro quoting him as saying: ‘I don’t know, I don’t know (why Conte took me off). I think sometimes the manager wants me on the bench at the end of the game.’

Chelsea fans will surely hope their club do all they can to prevent Hazard’s transfer to Real going through, particularly as it also stands to directly benefit United.
