Arsenal have been monitoring Juventus’ winger Juan Cuadrado but the Italian champions could be reluctant to part ways with the Colombian winger.

A report from Italian spots outlet CalcioMercato has stated that both Arsenal and AC Milan have been monitoring the Colombian who was rumored to be leaving Juve after a disappointing display in last season’s Champions League. However, it would appear that manager Massimiliano Allegri still values Cuadrado and has slapped a price-tag on him of at least €30m.

Cuadrado was the punchline of every football joke at the tail end of last season after being sent off during Juventus’ Champions League final clash with Real Madrid as they slipped to an embarrassing 4-1 loss in Cardiff handing Real their second Champions League in just two years.

Juan Cuadrado’s future looked uncertain at Juventus this summer but it now appears he could be going nowhere.

The mentioned report states that the winger’s future looked uncertain in the summer and reveals that Arsene Wenger and Arsenal were closely monitoring the star alongside Italian club AC Milan.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will renew their interest in the star when the January transfer window open in just a month time. However, it would appear that the Gunners will have to stump up a serious amount of cash for the star.

Alternatively, it looks as though Arsenal have instead turned their attention to a different attacking talent. The Sun have reported just this week that the Gunners are currently eyeing up a £35m approach for Crystal Palace’s Wilfred Zaha as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez if the Chilean was to depart the Emirates this season.
