Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is reportedly threatening to quit the club as he is not happy with the prospect of them sealing the transfer of Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
According to Diario Gol, the France international is up there with Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho as among Barca’s priority targets at the moment, but that could threaten Suarez’s place in the side.
The Uruguay international has not been at his best so far this season, and it could be that Barcelona see Griezmann as a potential upgrade for him up front.
ESPN report that Manchester United look likely to come back in for the 26-year-old in the summer, and Suarez will clearly hope that is the case.
If not, the former Liverpool front-man could be another big name on the market as he may be forced to look for a new club.
There would surely be a number of suitors for the 30-year-old in the Premier League after his tremendous exploits during his time at Anfield.
Suarez scored 82 goals for Liverpool in 133 appearances over a three-and-a-half-year spell, and has arguably only been even better since then, netting 124 goals in 161 games for Barca.
This season, however, Suarez has just three goals to his name as he perhaps enters the beginning of his decline.
