Real Madrid forced to change transfer plans due to fear of tough negotiators Manchester United

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly considering moving for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma instead of David de Gea out of a fear of negotiating with Manchester United.

The Red Devils are strong negotiators in the transfer market, and held on to De Gea back in 2015 when BBC Sport reported his move to the Bernabeu fell through late on.

De Gea continues to show himself to be one of the finest goalkeepers in the world, with Real looking for an upgrade on Keylor Navas in that position, according to Don Balon.

Diario Gol have recently linked Navas as a target for Arsenal, and Don Balon now suggest Donnarumma is his most likely replacement between the sticks.

The Italy international is considered a huge young talent, but it is still quite a compliment to United that Real are changing their plans due to their stubbornness when it comes to selling stars.

Jose Mourinho could certainly do without losing such an important player, with De Gea widely praised for regularly keeping United in some close games in recent years.
