Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho delivers frightening message to the rest of the Premier League

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has finally confirmed some good injury news as Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo are set to return against Newcastle.

The Red Devils have been without Pogba since September after he made a fine start to the campaign, with the team arguably not looking nearly as convincing since.

Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic and Rojo have not played yet this term since sustaining major injuries back in April, but Mourinho says the three of them will be fit enough to take a place on the bench tomorrow.

‘All three will be selected,’ Mourinho was quoted on BBC Sport.

‘Paul you can see. Clearly you can see there was a Manchester United this season before and after his injury. He has qualities that influence our approach in matches.

‘Last season we played with Zlatan every minute. (We have) learned how to play without him. Of course we welcome him back. He is an incredible personality.’

United have hit something of a rough patch of late, winning just once in their last four Premier League matches, but they’ll certainly be a different prospect with so many big names returning.

Pogba is one of the best midfield players in the world on his day and can give the side something different in that position, while Ibrahimovic’s quality and experience could be vital over the course of a close title race this season.

Manchester City currently hold an eight-point lead at the top of the table but will surely be looking over their shoulders now after Mourinho’s update today.
