Man Utd 2018/19 away kit leaked: Fetching pink jersey next season

Man Utd’s new away kit will be released in May next year, but Footy Headlines have reportedly released the first look at the jersey and it’s fair to say it’s going to stand out.

The Red Devils have had some cracking away kits and third kits over the years, including the infamous grey  edition in 1995/96 which Sir Alex Ferguson evidently wasn’t a fan of after ordering a change during half-time in a game with Southampton, while they also had the memorable half yellow and half green one in 1993.

Now, as seen in the image below courtesy of Footy Headlines, they could be set for a pink version next year which is said to have taken its inspiration from the old Manchester Evening News ‘Football Pink’ section which was dedicated to football news, as seen in the tweet below.

It’s a bold move and we’ll see how it goes down at away grounds up and down the country next season, if this is indeed the look that United will go with, but it’s certainly a brave one in terms of getting supporters to buy it.

We could change our mind entirely after our first proper look, but United and Adidas have certainly attracted plenty of attention with this one already…
