(Image) Chelsea legend John Terry trolls QPR as Aston Villa pick up impressive win

He may be ruled out through injury right now, but that isn’t stopping John Terry help support his Aston Villa teammates as they aim for promotion to the Premier League this season.

The Chelsea legend suffered a broken metatarsal last month and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines, but he was in attendance for their game against QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday.

An Albert Adomah double secured the win for the visitors, and Terry couldn’t help but have a pop at QPR after the game, as seen with his post below.

Evidently, the 36-year-old has fond memories of his trips to the stadium with Chelsea and enjoyed leaving with another three points in the bag which keep Villa firmly in the hunt for a playoff spot and perhaps even more.

Naturally, Steve Bruce is missing the leadership and defensive qualities that Terry has brought to the team since his arrival in the summer, but Villa certainly look as though they’re turning a corner this season as they launch a serious bid to get back into the English top flight for next season.

QPR fans won’t appreciate Terry’s comments, but it’s happy days for the former Chelsea man…
