Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has shared his rather gruesome nose injury from the Madrid derby against Atletico on Saturday night.
The Spain international is one of the toughest centre-backs in the game at the moment, and really took one for the team as he got himself a bit battered against Atletico.
Ramos was keen to show his commitment to the cause, uploading an image of his injury to his Instagram page, with a fitting caption.
He wrote: ‘I would bleed a thousand times for this badge and this shirt. Thanks for your support. I’ll be back in no time.’
If only the rest of the Real Madrid team pulled their weight like Ramos at the moment, with this the latest in a long line of disappointing results and uninspiring performances by Los Blancos this season.
Real are already ten points behind league leaders Barcelona in the title race, and will surely not be retaining their crown this season.
Still, Real fans can be sure Ramos will be fighting until the very last minute.
