Premier League giants Man United and Arsenal have both reportedly been spying on Porto and Portugal midfielder Danilo Pereira.
This is according to the Sun, who state that the English side both sent scouts in a mission to watch the midfielder in his side’s most recent Liga NOS match against Portimonense, in which they came out victorious.
The news outlet have also said that PSG have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old in the past, so should United and Arsenal’s interest in the player be genuine they may have a fight on their hands to secure the player’s signature first.
Since arriving in Porto, Pereira has been impressive for the Portuguese giants.
In 102 appearances for the Liga NOS side, the midfielder has managed to score 13 and assist four, a decent record seeing as the player is mainly deployed as a defensive midfielder.
For Portugal, the 26-year-old has been impressive, as the player played a pivotal part in his national side’s competition win at Euro 2016.
Pereira is often played as a defensive midfielder for the Portuguese side, with the player sometimes being deployed as a centre-back in certain situations.
