Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid, four marquee names considered claims Spanish football expert

Things aren’t going well for Real Madrid so far this season, and Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly isn’t a happy man amid their struggles.

Aside from the fact that they’ve slipped 10 points adrift of Barcelona in the La Liga title race, they’re at risk of missing out on top spot in Group H of the Champions League.

In turn, with some poor results to analyse so far this season already, Zinedine Zidane needs to find the solutions in order to avoid it becoming a more difficult situation.

As for Ronaldo, the 32-year-old has scored just eight goals in 14 appearances so far this season, which for him, is arguably somewhat of a crisis, especially when considering he’s found the back of the net just once in eight La Liga outings having been so prolific over the last six years.

The problems aren’t just reserved for the pitch either according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, who claims that the Portuguese superstar once again wants to leave Madrid.

“Yes he has told Real and Florentino Perez he wants to leave. He is again upset,” he told Sky Sports. “But the Madrid president said there was no chance of him leaving, you have a €1bn buyout clause. So there is no chance of Ronaldo being allowed to go.”

Balague adds that a number of names are being lined up as marquee signings to either replace or boost Madrid’s hopes of maintaining their impressive level of success in recent years, with Antoine Griezmann, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski all specifically mentioned.

It remains to be seen whether any of those individuals arrive, but that isn’t going to happen until next year in either of the two transfer windows, and so between now and then, Madrid, Zidane and Ronaldo need to find the answers to their problems without the help of reinforcements.
