Good news Liverpool fans, Jurgen Klopp allays transfer fears over key duo

Things are looking much more positive for Liverpool, as they’ve rattled off four consecutive wins in all competitions and are back on track.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have scored 13 goals and conceded just one since being turned over by Tottenham at Wembley in a 4-1 defeat on October 22, and so perhaps they deserve a little more credit after being so heavily criticised after that performance in particular.

Nevertheless, the talk has centred around transfers in recent days, with both Philippe Coutinho and Mohamed Salah being mentioned specifically in rumours and gossip.

As noted by ESPN, the link between Coutinho and Barcelona remains from the summer, while Salah has also been linked with a move to Spain with both the Catalan giants and Real Madrid being mentioned.

Losing either would be a major blow for Liverpool, with Coutinho continuing to be a key creative hub in the side, while his Egyptian teammate has been in sensational form since his summer move from Roma with 14 goals in 18 appearances.

In turn, Klopp insisting that all is well and he’s not worried about losing them will be music to the ears of Liverpool supporters, and that’s what they got when he spoke ahead of the Champions League tie with Sevilla this week.

“I am not worried about it, but the way for us to be successful is to have good players in the team. It’s our job to make sure that players want to stay here,” he said, as per ESPN.

“We are completely cool and Phil is 100 percent at Liverpool. After all the talk of the summer, it is really positive. When the market closed, we were all professionals.”

That being said, it doesn’t sound like Liverpool fans have to be too worried at this stage, as especially taking into consideration the Brazilian playmaker’s form when fit so far this season, he’s committed to the cause and is continuing to be a pivotal part of the team.

However, the January transfer window will arguably offer more answers in terms of whether or not Barcelona return for him, but for now, Klopp is enjoying this run of form and is not allowing himself to be distracted by transfer speculation, and rightly so.
