Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has been fined just £340 by LA police for an incident that saw him arrested over the summer.
The Belgium international was charged with excessive and noisy partying that disrupted locals while United were on a pre-season tour in the US.
According to the Sun, Lukaku has avoided jail time but been asked to pay a small penalty of just £340, despite earning roughly £200,000 a week at Old Trafford.
Lukaku had only just jointed United at that time, following a protracted transfer saga.
Unsurprisingly, the 24-year-old quickly struck up a friendship with Paul Pogba, and the Sun claim they were partying in a rented mansion and seemed to ignore warnings about the noise.
It was not the best start to life with the Red Devils, but it seems the whole story has been much ado about nothing as this small fine is hardly likely to put Lukaku off behaving similarly in the future.
