Liverpool had a night to forget on Tuesday, as they surrendered a 3-0 lead at Sevilla to eventually draw the game 3-3 against their Spanish rivals.
Having been in such a commanding position, to concede three times in the second half would have been a bitter blow to the team’s confidence, with Jurgen Klopp now having to pick them up for the big weekend clash with Chelsea.
However, the fallout isn’t quite over yet, as footage has emerged of the reaction on the Liverpool bench when Sevilla grabbed their last-gasp equaliser courtesy of Guido Pizzaro.
Mohamed Salah features prominently as he can’t quite believe what he’s seen before his frustration starts to creep out, while for Daniel Sturridge it was head in hands moment.
Those are reactions that were probably shared by most Liverpool supporters as the game played out. After doing so well defensively in recent games, conceding just once in their previous four outings before Sevilla, it was a setback for the whole team and now they still need need a draw against Spartak Moscow in the final group game to go through.
