Arsenal look set to miss out on the possible transfer of James Rodriguez despite him pushing for a way out of both Real Madrid and loan club Bayern Munich.
The Colombia international has had a difficult few years at club level and is now said to be planning for the next stage of his career.
While Gol Digital recently linked Rodriguez with a surprise move to Arsenal as a replacement for Mesut Ozil, it has now emerged he would rather move to Paris Saint-Germain.
This is according to Don Balon, who claim his agent Jorge Mendes has been in touch with him recently to inform him of PSG’s offer for him, which the player himself hopes Real accept.

The French giants signed big names in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe over the summer, and could do well to bring in another big name like Rodriguez.
The 26-year-old has previously shown his tremendous potential in Ligue 1 with Monaco, and Don Balon claim he’d like the chance to revive his career there by linking up with PSG.
Rodriguez has, however, failed to really make the step up at bigger clubs since his Monaco days, with Real offloading him on loan this summer where he has also struggled to make an impact.
