Monaco are reportedly interested in signing out-of-favour Barcelona and Turkey midfielder Arda Turan.
This is according to Turkish news outlet Fanatik, who state that Leonardo Jardim’s side are interested in signing the 30-year-old, who is yet to step foot on the pitch for Barca this season.
Since his arrival from Spanish side Atletico Madrid in 2015, Turan has struggled to make a significant impact in Catalonia.
In 55 appearances for Ernesto Valverde’s side, Turan has managed to score 15 goals and assist 11 times, a fairly average record.
This season, the Turk has found himself out-of-favour at the Nou Camp, with the midfielder yet to make an appearance for the Blaugrana in all competitions.
Turan has also managed to pick up a fair amount of silverware during his time at Barca, as since his arrival, the club have won one La Liga title, two Copa Del Rey’s and one UEFA Super Cup, a decent return.
Turan really came onto the scene during his time in the Spanish capital with Atletico, as the player helped Diego Simeone’s side win the La Liga title in 2014, as well as reach the final of the 2014 Champions League, where they lost to rivals Real Madrid.
