Liverpool midfielder Emre Can looks set to join Juventus after reports in Italy claimed he’s already agreed personal terms with the Serie A giants ahead of the January transfer window.

The Germany international is set to be out of contract at the end of the season, with Liverpool seemingly failing to tie him down at Anfield, in what will surely be a huge blow to Jurgen Klopp.

Can has been a key performer for the Reds since he joined in 2014/15, and still looks to have his best years ahead of him after showing significant improvement this season and last.

Klopp will surely be bitterly disappointed if he loses Emre Can next year…

However, Tuttosport suggest he already struck an agreement with Juventus during the summer, when Liverpool rejected offers for his signature.

Can is free to negotiate with foreign clubs from January and it looks like his deal to move to Turin the following season could be finalised by then.

Juventus have done some great business in the transfer market in recent years, signing big names like Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo and Sami Khedira on free transfers.

Can would be another smart addition if his recent form for Liverpool is anything to go by.
