One Tottenham fan believes Sky Sports have shown clear bias against Spurs with a title race promo leaving Mauricio Pochettino out while the rest of the ‘big six’ remain.
This is despite Tottenham currently being ahead of both Arsenal and Liverpool in the Premier League table at the moment, and just two points behind Chelsea, having also been their closest challengers last season.
Pochettino’s side also ran Leicester City very close in 2015/16, despite a late slip-up meaning they actually ended up finishing third as Arsenal leapfrogged them into second on the final day of the campaign.
Still, Spurs fan Trevor Lloyd insists this Sky Sports promo is clear proof they don’t take the club seriously as title challengers and slammed it as ‘a joke’.
No media agenda they say ??? title race in back to back seasons. Above Arsenal and Liverpool. 1 off Chelsea. 3 off United ??? what a joke. @SkySports #THFC pic.twitter.com/kYRsAzbp0W

Unsurprisingly, a number of Tottenham fans replied in agreement…
I tweeted something similar earlier, I wonder if @SkySportsNews or @SkySports would like to reply? #ShamCoverage

Its disgusting. Like I keep saying WHEN this team win something, they will still find a way to belittle it

Unbelievable it’s always the same no mention of Spurs #COYS

Quite why there would be an agenda against Tottenham is not entirely clear, but never let that get in the way of a good social media rant.
Embarrassingly, Trevor was also corrected on his maths as it seems he calculated that Spurs were closer to Chelsea than he initially thought.
Bro can you even count, how can u be 1 off Chelsea and three off United when Chelsea are 1 off united

Perhaps the Premier League table also has an agenda against Tottenham? More on this as we get it.
