Man United and England star Luke Shaw has been ranked as one of the fittest players at Man United, proving boss Jose Mourinho wrong.
This is according to the Sun, who state that both Shaw and teammate Antonio Valencia were both ranked at number one in the regular fitness tests that United’s players take part in.
Mourinho has been somewhat critical of Shaw’s fitness levels in the past as per the Sun, however following this news, it seems as if the former Southampton star has somewhat proved his manager wrong.
Since his arrival at Old Trafford in 2014, Man United ace Shaw has a had a topsy-turvy time in Manchester.
In 49 games for the Premier League giants, the player is yet to score, with the left-back only managing to assist three times in that time as well.
Since his arrival, Shaw has managed to help his side win one League Cup, one Europa League and one Community Shield.
One of the main problems Shaw has faced since his Old Trafford arrival in his troubles with injury.
So far, the England international missed a total of 94 games, meaning that the 22-year-old has missed nearly twice as many games than he’s played due to injury.
