Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has got off to a tremendous start at Anfield after his summer transfer from Roma, sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League scoring charts with 12 goals in 14 games.

As well as that, the Egypt international is also scoring at the most efficient rate in the top flight at the moment, with a goal every 87 minutes, according to the Daily Mirror.

This puts him joint top alongside Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, but he has the arguably more impressive record given that he’s on three goals more than the Argentine.

Chelsea fans will be kicking themselves at the sight of this stat, with the Blues foolishly letting Salah join Roma on a permanent deal last year, having previously been farmed out on loan by the club due to a lack of opportunities.

Liverpool, meanwhile, can enjoy the satisfaction of surely sealing the signing of the summer for such a low fee in this current market, with BBC Sport reporting that Salah cost just £34million.

And yet, his 12 goals put him on more in the league than Chelsea’s two main attackers Alvaro Morata (8) and Eden Hazard (3) put together.
