Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic has showed exactly why Man United should’ve signed him in the summer, as the Croatian winger bagged a hat-trick in his side’s 5-0 won over Chievo in Serie A.
The player scored three of his side’s five this afternoon, with Mauro Icardi and Milan Skriniar also finding the net as the Italian giants went top of Serie A.
Man United tried hard to secure Perisic’s signature from Inter over the summer according to the Mirror, however now it seems as if the player is showing Jose Mourinho exactly why he should’ve signed him in the summer.
Since his move to Italy from German side Wolfsburg, Perisic has been nothing short of sublime.
In 93 appearances for the Italian giants, the Croatian winger has been able to score 27 and assist 24 times, an impressive record.
So far this season, Perisic has been able to score seven and assist six in 15 appearances, which considering the player only managed 11 goals and 11 assist through the entire of last season, is a very good record.
