Manchester United may have been dealt a blow in their rumoured transfer pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro as PSG are reportedly prepared to pay big for him.
Diario Gol have previously mentioned that the Red Devils are admirers of the Brazil international, who has shown himself to be a crucial part of this Madrid squad in recent times.
However, United could be priced out of a move for Casemiro as latest speculation suggests PSG could stump up a huge sum of cash to pay his release clause.
According to Diario Gol‘s latest update, PSG are prepared to meet the £176million fee to trigger his buy-out clause, which surely puts them in a commanding position.
The Ligue 1 giants are one of the wealthiest clubs in world football and have spent big on a number of world class stars in recent times, and none more so than this year.

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are among those to move to the Parc des Princes this season in surprise moves, and Casemiro would be another superb addition to add balance to their side.
The 25-year-old is not the flashiest performer, but would add great defensive strength to PSG in midfield – a component they’ll need if they are to achieve their aim of winning the Champions League.
Casemiro has plenty of experience in that department, winning the trophy three times with Los Blancos.
