Real Madrid sources have reportedly been quoted as saying ‘He is signed’ when discussing the prospect of Chelsea star Eden Hazard sealing a transfer to the Bernabeu next summer, according to Diario Gol.
The report states that Isco is not happy about the move, and it follows claims earlier today that suggested the deal could even be off due to Florentino Perez not wanting to risk losing Marco Asensio.
This claim came from Don Balon, but alternative sources have now been quoted by Diario Gol as suggesting Hazard looks to be on his way to Madrid for next season.
This makes sense for the Spanish giants as they look for a long-term replacement for the misfiring Cristiano Ronaldo, who himself has been linked with a move away from Real.
AS claimed earlier this season that Ronaldo was unhappy at Madrid and not planning on signing a new contract, and there’d be few better options than Hazard in terms of filling that void.

The Belgium international has risen to become one of the best players in the world in his time at Chelsea, and has hinted before that he’d be open to joining Madrid after expressing his wish to play under manager Zinedine Zidane.
‘Zidane would be a dream to have as a coach, he was my idol when I was little. I have a lot of respect for him,’ Hazard told La Derniere Heure earlier this season.
Diario Gol suggest work will begin on finalising Hazard’s move to Madrid once they conclude a deal for Mauro Icardi, which Diario Gol also claimed to be a deal nearing conclusion today, with a medical apparently scheduled for him later this month.
