Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly become open to selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona if he can seal the transfer of midfielder Sergi Roberto as part of the deal.
BBC Sport reported that Liverpool turned down three opportunities to sell Coutinho to Barcelona in the summer, and the Brazil international has continued to show his importance to the club since then.
Still, Liverpool could have a change of heart if Klopp can land Roberto in exchange, according to latest reports from Don Balon.
The 25-year-old has never really established himself as a regular for Barca, despite showing plenty of potential when he has been used, both as a midfielder and a full-back.

It’s little surprise to see the Reds are interested in Roberto, who seems a realistic target if he does decide to walk away from the Nou Camp for more playing time.
Whilst not a direct replacement for Coutinho, the Spaniard could be a useful addition to replace Emre Can, who is in the final year of his contract at Anfield.
The Daily Star yesterday quoted Klopp as not ruling out selling Coutinho to Barcelona in January, saying he hasn’t thought about the upcoming transfer window yet.
