Video: Furious Stoke City fans confront Mark Hughes’ squad at train station after Tottenham defeat

It wasn’t a good day for Stoke City fans on Saturday, as they saw their side fall to a 5-1 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley.

The result leaves them in 15th place in the Premier League table, with just four wins in their 16 games so far this season.

Further, they sit precariously above the relegation zone, with just three points separating them from the bottom three.

In turn, coupled with the manner of the result and performance this weekend, the supporters took the opportunity to let the players know how furious they were as the fans and squad returned to Stoke on the same train from Euston, as seen in the video below.

Fans can be heard chanting: “You’re not fit to wear the shirt”, as they made their way off the train with Mark Hughes and his players seen at the opposite end of the platform after being let off first.

With the Welshman under pressure, upcoming games against Burnley and West Ham United could now be crucial in saving his job as he will demand a much-improved performance and result on Tuesday to get the Potters back on track.
