Good news for Liverpool fans, new footage shows no problem between key duo amid concerns

A key moment in the Merseyside derby at the weekend had Liverpool fans talking, and it revolved around key pair Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

While the latter was arguably the leading figure at Anfield last season as he made a stunning impact following his move from Southampton, Salah has taken the majority of the plaudits with his form this year.

After joining from Roma this past summer, the 25-year-old has bagged an impressive 19 goals and six assists in 24 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

During the draw with Everton on Sunday though, Mane had an opportunity to square for Salah which would have led to a certain goal, and a possible win for the hosts.

Instead, he opted to take the shot on himself which went wide, and led to the reaction below from some Liverpool supporters who questioned the relationship between the two attackers.

Naturally, that snowballed and it gathered more and more attention as questions were asked as to whether or not they really were happy in the same team as each other.

Having been such a prominent figure last season to now being overshadowed, it would be the same for any player not just Mane to have to adjust to that.

Nevertheless, as seen in the tunnel cam video from Sunday’s game, around the seven minute and 37 seconds mark, the pair are seen in discussion with arms around each other’s shoulder and seemingly analysing how to go out and win the game.

It really doesn’t look like two players who are fighting for the limelight in any shape or form, and so for those concerned that the pair might have an issue, it’s fair to say they can rest easy as Jurgen Klopp’s side continue to look an absolute nightmare for opposition defenders with 33 goals scored in their last 10 games in all competitions.
