Manchester United transfer target Thomas Meunier has tweeted a subtle hint that he’d like a move to Old Trafford after one of his Belgian team-mates signed him for the Red Devils on Football Manager.
According to a previous report from the Daily Express, Meunier could be a £30million target for Jose Mourinho this January as he struggles for regular first-team football at the Parc des Princes.
United could certainly do worse than adding the Belgium international to their ranks as an alternative to Antonio Valencia in that part of the pitch.
Meunier has largely impressed when given a chance by PSG, and he seemed pretty happy at being signed by United in the Football Manager world at least.
The 26-year-old was tweeted by his fellow countryman Christian Kabasele, currently at Watford, who sent him a picture of his virtual unveiling with the Red Devils.
Olala le joli contrat ??

Meunier responded by saying: ‘Olala what a pretty contract.’
It remains to be seen if United’s interest will become more concrete in the coming weeks as January draws nearer, but they may be interested to see the player drawing attention to the links, albeit in this subtle and light-hearted manner.
Meunier will likely be thinking about playing more as he hopes to make Belgium’s World Cup squad next summer, with a number of players likely to be on the move this winter if they’re not playing often enough with their current clubs.
