Zinedine Zidane would rather sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea than Paulo Dybala from Juventus for Real Madrid because of one key reason.
A report from the respected Italian sports outlet CalcioMercato has stated that Zidane would rather make a move for Hazard because he feels that the Belgian is far more experienced and would be more adapt at fitting into life at Real Madrid imminently than Juventus’ Dybala.
The report also states that both Hazard and Dybala have been heavily linked to Real Madrid with the Spanish champions looking to strengthen their squad after a mixed start to the season.
Real were able to seal an incredible double lasts season as they secured a consecutive Champions League trophy as-well as a La Liga title.
This season however they have significantly dropped off of the pace and are currently struggling to compete with Barcelona in La Liga alongside having to settle for second place in their Champions League group this season behind English side Tottenham.
Further, with Madrid being drawn against PSG in the first round of knockout fixtures in the Champions League it would appear that they will need to make some serious additions as soon as possible to regain their impressive power and to once again compete at the top.
The recent reports regarding Hazard come in the same week that the Sun have reported that the La Liga giants are preparing a record-breaking £100m bid for Eden Hazard.
Whether the Belgian will leave Stamford Bridge is certainly uncertain however but it certainly looks as though Antonio Conte could struggle to hold onto his prized possession.
