Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has failed to rule out the possibility of his side making a move for Arsenal player Alexis Sanchez next month.

This is according to Sky Sports, who state that the Spaniard, whose side currently sit 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League, was asked about the possibility of his side making a move for Sanchez next month, with the former Barca boss failing to quash the rumours.

Speaking questioned about the possibility of his side moving for Sanchez, Guardiola said that “On the pitch you know. The transfer window is in winter time so I don’t know. I don’t know what we are going to do, because it’s not…OK.”

It seems as if Guardiola is still keen on Sanchez if his words on the situation are anything to go by

So far this season, Man City are looking unstoppable under the guidance of the brilliant Guardiola.

The Citizens have only dropped a total of two points in 17 games this campaign, with those coming in a 1-1 draw against Everton at the Etihad all the way back in August.

Since that result, the Premier League table toppers have won 16 league games in a row, a run which includes victories over man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and Sanchez’s Arsenal.

The Manchester-based side are currently averaging more than three goals a game, a rate that is they are to maintain, will see them brake the record for most goals scored in a single Premier League season.

Guardiola’s ability have come to full fruition so far this season, as his City side’s playing style has seen many tout them as the best side in the world so far this year.
