£39m Brazilian forward house hunting in Madrid this week ahead of completing Real Madrid transfer

Flamengo forward Vinicius Junior is set to arrive in Madrid this week to watch Real Madrid take on Barcelona in El Clasico and find himself a house in the Spanish capital.

The 17-year-old wonderkid has already agreed a transfer to the Bernabeu which will become effective when he turns 18, and is making the final preparations for the move.

According to Diario Gol, Vinicius will be house hunting in Madrid this week, even though he still won’t be playing for Los Blancos for some time.

It is expected that the Brazilian forward will spend time on loan back at Flamengo for the first half of 2018/19 at least.

One of the most exciting young talents in the world, the teenager has already cost Real a staggering £39million transfer fee, despite being relatively unproven at the top level.

Zinedine Zidane will be delighted to be bringing Vinicius Junior to Real Madrid

Still, Real have a decent record of finding the world’s best young players, and won’t want to make the same mistake they did when failing to land Kylian Mbappe earlier in his career.

According to Goal, Mbappe spent time with Madrid when he was just 14 but ended up being lured to Monaco instead, where he quickly became one of the best attacking players in the world.

Real will hope Vinicius can end up being a similarly explosive talent at the top level in the near future.
