Former Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva showed he’s still a Red through and through by trolling rivals Manchester United over their shock Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat to Bristol City last night.
The Brazilian, now with Serie A side Lazio, spent ten seasons at Anfield and was a popular figure among the club’s fans despite not always being a regular in the first-team.
Lucas will have done his reputation with Liverpool supporters no harm here, by mocking United as they fell to a shock defeat to a Championship side.
Lee Johnson’s men took a 1-0 lead before Zlatan Ibrahimovic pegged them back with the equaliser, only for Korey Smith to net a memorable stoppage-time winner to knock the holders out in a major upset.

Clearly keeping an eye on the game, Lucas tweeted: ‘Get in Bristol City unluckyyyyyy’ with three laughing emojis.
You can take the boy out of Liverpool…
