Antoine Griezmann devises plan to ensure he seals Barcelona transfer over Manchester United

Antoine Griezmann reportedly has a plan in place to ensure he ends up at Barcelona instead of Manchester United in next summer’s transfer window.

Atletico Madrid have already reported Barcelona to FIFA over their approach for Griezmann, according to a report from BBC Sport earlier this week.

The France international has been one of the top attacking players in Europe down the years and it’s little surprise to see top clubs chasing him ahead of next summer.

The Sun have previously reported on an approach from Manchester United to sign Griezmann, but Don Balon‘s latest report states that he doesn’t want to accept any other offers.

Griezmann only wants to move to the Nou Camp and has apparently urged Barcelona to cool their approaches for the time being in order to avoid angering Atletico further, according to Don Balon.

An earlier report from Don Balon suggested Atletico could now actively try to avoid selling Griezmann to Barca, but the 26-year-old clearly still believes he can get the move he wants.

Having sold Neymar to PSG this season, it looks vital for the Catalan giants to bring in a top class attacking player like Griezmann sooner rather than later.

United, meanwhile, have been linked with alternative targets by the Daily Mail, such as Willian and Christian Pulisic in the attacking midfield area.
