Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is seemingly not giving up on raiding his former club Chelsea for the transfer of Brazilian winger Willian.

The Manchester Evening News claimed almost a month ago that Mourinho had enquired about signing Willian from the Blues as he seeks to bolster his attacking midfield options.

And the Daily Mail now suggest Mourinho remains in talks over another audacious raid on his former employers after only just signing Nemanja Matic from them in the summer.

The Portuguese is unlikely to remain Mr Popular at Stamford Bridge if he carries on like this, having already left the club under something of a cloud in his second stint in charge between 2013 and 2015.

Could Willian be reunited with Jose Mourinho in a transfer to Manchester United?

An even more sensational transfer claim came this week from the Sun, who linked United with an interest in £90million-rated Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Willian would surely be a more realistic option for the Red Devils given his lack of regular playing time this season, but Chelsea surely won’t sell another big name to their rivals.

Matic has ended up being a fine signing for United and Mourinho now seems keen to work with more of his former players.
