Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was Anfield’s saviour this afternoon, as the forward’s double saw the Reds come from behind to beat Leicester 2-1 in the Premier League.

Leicester took the lead just three minutes into the match, as a cross from Riyad Mahrez allowed striker Jamie Vardy an open net to tap the ball into, as the England international scored his seventh goal in his last five games against Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool managed to find an equaliser just seven minutes after half time, as Salah kept his cool after being put through by Sadio Mane, as the Egyptian bagged his 16th league goal of the season.

The home side then took the lead in the 76th minute, after Salah found himself in behind again after he turned Foxes star Harry Maguire, with the former Roma ace cooling finishing his chance to give his side the lead.

The win sees Jurgen Klopp’s side go into fourth place in the league table, just two points behind rivals Man United in third place.

After the match, fans took to social media to praise match-winner Salah’s performance against the Foxes this afternoon.
