Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is clearly a flawed striker, as these bizarre shot conversion rate stats confirm.
Despite largely impressing for the Blues since his summer transfer from Real Madrid, Morata has gone slightly off the boil lately, scoring just three goals in his last 11 appearances for the club.
The Spain international was in action up front against Arsenal last night, and missed an absolutely glorious chance in the first half when given plenty of time and space with a clear run at goal.
Morata clearly has something to his game, but his finishing when it comes to his feet leaves plenty to be desired…

As the numbers above show, the 25-year-old has a decent enough conversion rate with his head – 29.17%, but that falls to a shockingly low 8% when it comes to finishing with his feet.
Morata certainly needs to get that second figure up quickly or he’ll become little more than a rather clumsy target man up top, rather than the world class all-rounder Chelsea thought they were getting.
Or as this fan so succinctly put it…
Chelsea need to fuck off with these Spanish strikers man
Morata is just Torres with Duncan Ferguson’s heading ability
