Man City beat Burnley 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon as Pep Guardiola’s side cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Guardiola’s side found themselves a goal down in the first half through a fine strike from Ashley Barnes, who was allowed through on goal after a mistake from John Stones.
However Sergio Aguero came to the home side’s rescue in the second half, as the Argentine forward scored twice in three minutes to put the Citizens in front just before the hour mark.
Goals from Sane and B Silva wrapped up the win for the Premier League leaders, who are still going strong on all front so far this season.
Player of the Match
There’s only one man deserving of this accolade today…
Man City’s talisman Sergio Aguero will take most of the plaudits today, as his three-minute brace got his side on their way to hammering Sean Dyche’s side.
Both of Aguero’s goals were sublime, with his second being something that would be worth hanging up in a gallery: an absolute masterpiece.
This tweets just about sums up the player’s game today
It’s going to be scary going Aguero-less for the next few games.
2 goals in a matter of minutes today.
