Man Utd AT RISK of missing out on exciting January signing for THIS REASON

As Jose Mourinho continues to reportedly scour the transfer market to strengthen his Man Utd squad in January, he could miss out on one of his targets.

The Portuguese tactician has seen his side fall 15 points adrift of rivals Man City at the top of the Premier League table, but with plenty still to play for, reinforcements in January could be a major boost for the second half of the campaign.

As per ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain star Lucas Moura has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this month, but there is a key issue standing in the way of the Brazilian arriving in Manchester.

That’s said to be because while the French giants are looking to sell him, offers so far with United specifically mentioned as making a bid, have only been loan deals for the 25-year-old.

In turn, that could scupper a potential agreement between the two parties, with Moura undoubtedly desperate to get his move elsewhere having fallen down the pecking order in the French capital.

Having made just six appearances all season following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer, the Brazilian ace needs to move on and while Nantes and Real Betis are also said to be interested, it’s surely not a contest if United are knocking on the door too.

However, until a compromise is reached in talks, it remains to be seen whether or not a move to Man Utd for Lucas Moura materialises this month.
