Manchester United will be happy to learn that Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has ordered for one of their rumoured transfer targets to be sold.

According to Don Balon, the Madrid boss believes he’s got a decent long-term replacement in youngster Theo Hernandez to come in at left-back in the near future.

This could see Marcelo offloaded, which may be of interest to United, who were linked with him on one or two occasions in the last few summers.

It remains to be seen if the Brazilian remains a priority for Jose Mourinho, but it is known that the club are on the lookout for a new signing at left-back due to the struggles of Luke Shaw.
