Manchester United star makes two demands to Real Madrid in transfer talks with Florentino Perez

Manchester United goalkeeper has told Florentino Perez he has two demands if he is to leave Old Trafford and seal a transfer to Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

The 27-year-old is one of the best shot-stoppers on the planet right now, and would undoubtedly be a major upgrade on Keylor Navas between the sticks at the Bernabeu.

United won’t want to lose him, and it seems De Gea isn’t exactly pushing hard for a move away from Manchester either, though he has put his cards on the table for the Spanish giants.

According to Don Balon, the former Atletico Madrid man would be open to joining Los Blancos as long as he is assured of the number one spot ahead of Navas.

De Gea is also said by Don Balon to be keen to ensure there is no drama in any potential transfer saga this time, unlike when he nearly joined the club back in 2015.

BBC Sport reported at the time that the ‘keeper’s move to Real unexpectedly fell through late on due to a bizarre fault with a fax machine, ending months of speculation in spectacular style.

It remains to be seen how hard Real will now push to ensure they can meet De Gea’s demands and sign him over other options in goal.
