Rival boss drops MAJOR hint Man Utd have COMPLETED January deal

Man Utd have seemingly been given a clear path to land one January signing in particular as a rival in the race has dropped out and dropped a huge hint.

Having been restricted to just six appearances in all competitions so far this season, Paris Saint-Germain star Lucas Moura is likely to be seeking an exit.

With regular playing time hard to come by in the French capital following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer, his situation is unlikely to change and interest from Man Utd has been reported for the best part of a fortnight.

Now, Nantes boss Claudio Ranieri appears to have dropped a major hint that a move to Man Utd has already been agreed for the 25-year-old, as he has effectively admitted defeat in the transfer race and doesn’t expect to welcome the Brazilian international to his side this month.

“He’s a high-class player, and with us he could have played in a league he knows instead of being a PSG substitute or going to another country,” Ranieri told Le Parisien.

“He would have been available right now and could have six months away from the World Cup. But he made another choice. Never mind.”

Although he hasn’t specifically mentioned Man Utd, the suggestion would imply it is given that the Red Devils have been heavily linked with a swoop in January, while staying at PSG just doesn’t make sense.

Coupled with the hint the Brazilian ace could be moving to another country, it all seems to be pointing towards a move to Old Trafford, albeit there is no agreement on if it’s going to be a loan deal or permanent move as yet.
