Stats suggest Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is just the signing Arsenal need as he boasts an impressive stat from his performances in the Bundesliga so far this season.
According to Guillem Balague of Sky Sports, Arsenal are optimistic they can do a deal for Aubameyang this January, and it’s clear there’s plenty he could bring to the side.
Anyone who’s watched Aubameyang down the years will be well aware of his pace and goal threat up front, with the 28-year-old boasting a superb record of 141 goals in 212 games for Dortmund.
As well as that, he’s kept up his terrific form in front of goal this term, netting 12 clear-cut scoring opportunities in the Bundesliga, according to WhoScored.

This puts him top in the German top flight for this category, and shows he’s the kind of lethal goal predator Arsenal have been lacking.
The Gunners will have hoped Alexandre Lacazette would become that when he joined from Lyon in the summer, but the Frenchman has struggled to get going at the Emirates Stadium.
Aubameyang, however, looks to have a bit more about his game and Balague also added that Arsenal feel he could be the perfect partner for Lacazette.
Despite Alexis Sanchez looking like heading to Manchester United, according to BBC Sport, this could still be a decent January for Arsenal if they bring in a striker of this quality.
