Arsenal have reportedly made an offer for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema alongside their pursuits of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Malcom.
The Gunners urgently need to strengthen up front this winter as BBC Sport reported today that star forward Alexis Sanchez looks set for a move to Manchester United.
Most speculation points towards Arsenal trying to replace the Chilean with two signings, with Sky Sports suggesting a £53million deal for Borussia Dortmund front-man Aubameyang looks possible.
As well as that, the Guardian have linked the north London giants with talks over signing Malcom from Bordeaux for around £45m.
Still, Arsenal may not be finished there as Don Balon now claim they’re chasing the signing of Benzema for around £35m.
The Frenchman could be a decent addition to Arsene Wenger’s squad, even if he hasn’t been at his best at the Bernabeu for much of this season.
Arsenal cannot afford to be too picky right now, and in fairness Benzema has been one of Europe’s top strikers for much of the last decade, so may well still have something to offer.
If Sanchez does leave and this trio comes in at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal fans certainly can’t say Wenger hasn’t prepared as well as possible for this hectic transfer window.
