Man Utd club shop drop MAJOR HINT over Alexis Sanchez ANNOUNCEMENT

The Express have reportedly cheekily tried their luck with buying an Alexis Sanchez shirt at the Man Utd club shop, and the response was a huge hint.

The Chilean international is set for Old Trafford according to widespread speculation, with BBC Sport reporting that the Red Devils are prepared to pay his £35m asking price and see off competition from Man City and Chelsea.

Following on from that, the hints continue to be dropped as it’s been claimed by The Express that after requesting a Sanchez shirt at the club shop prior to Monday night’s win over Stoke City, the response from staff would suggest that they’re all merely just waiting for confirmation.

“We can’t print them until there’s been an official announcement,” the paper was told, before the staff member quickly noted: “I mean if there’s an official announcement!”

It’s added that along with the £35m asking price, United are set to offer the 29-year-old a contract worth £300,000-a-week.

His arrival will undoubtedly hand Jose Mourinho a huge boost for the remainder of this season and beyond, dealing a blow to Pep Guardiola in the process given the Spaniard was heavily linked with a reunion with Sanchez since last summer.
