Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang posed alongside an Arsenal fan yesterday amid ongoing speculation that he could seal a transfer to the Gunners this January.

The Daily Mirror add that the Gabon international has pleaded with Borussia Dortmund to let him move to the Emirates Stadium this month, with a swap deal the most likely outcome.

Aubameyang is, according to the Mirror, valued at around £60million by his club, and that would be too much for Arsenal to even think about paying.

This could reportedly see Arsenal offer Olivier Giroud to Dortmund as part of any deal, which seems a decent enough exchange for Arsene Wenger at this moment in time.

The France international is no longer first choice in Wenger’s side, and Aubameyang looks like he’d be a significant upgrade in attack given his scoring record in the Bundesliga.

The 28-year-old has 141 goals in 212 games for Dortmund, including 21 in 23 games so far this season.

Amidst all the transfer talk, Aubameyang also happened to pose alongside an Arsenal fan in a photo shared on Stan Collymore’s Twitter feed.

It looks like being a major reshuffle in attack for Arsenal this January with Alexis Sanchez nearing a move to Manchester United, according to the Daily Express, and Theo Walcott close to joining Everton, according to BBC Sport.
