Manchester United on the BRINK of £65million transfer, Jose Mourinho already planning his debut

Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the transfer of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez for a total of £65million as Henrikh Mkhitaryan prepares to move the other way.

The Red Devils now expect a deal for Sanchez to be concluded in just under 48 hours and Jose Mourinho believes he could make his debut against Burnley this Saturday.

The Chile international’s transfer fee will be £25million, while his signing-on bonus and agent fees mean the deal could end up costing a total of £65m, according to the Daily Express.

Mkhitaryan no longer looks a barrier to the move going through, with the Armenia international expected to agree to joining the Gunners to help push the move through.

This seems superb business by United, who have made a major statement by beating Manchester City to the signature of one of their top priority targets for over a year now.

Sanchez’s transfer is now on the brink of completion, and he’ll be eligible to play in the Champions League in the second half of this campaign and hand United a major boost in pursuit of European glory, even if the Premier League title is out of reach.
